The Conrad boutique showcases Montblanc’s latest collections in new, elegant retail environment
Montblanc continues to expand its retail presence in India, with the opening of its newest boutique in The Conrad, Bangalore showcasing the Maison’s new Neo² retail design concept currently being rolled out globally.
Designed by French designer and interiors architect Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance, the 301 ft² boutique offers a dynamic and elegant retail environment with the latest collections from Montblanc. The concept presents a pure and uncluttered aesthetic, mixing black, white and wood for a contemporary retail environment with dedicated areas for the four core categories in Montblanc’s portfolio: writing instruments, watches, jewellery, and leather goods.
The selection of refined materials inside the boutique not only express the Maison’s European codes of elegance and spirit of craftsmanship, but also serve to identify each category by the distinct materials with which they are usually associated. Watchmaking is brought to life through the use of bronze-sheen brass, leather and wood; black leather and walnut wood reflect the Maison’s leather goods expertise; while lacquers and fine metals evoke writing instruments and jewellery.
Home to a wide selection of the Maison’s core writing instruments, the new boutique offers a variety of collectables that include the Patron of Arts Homage to Ludwig II, and the new Montblanc Heritage Rouge & Noir, Spider Metamorphosis Special Edition that capture the Maison’s early pioneering spirit with a spider design inspired by the Maison’s legacy.
Watch enthusiasts will appreciate the variety of models on offer, including the latest 1858 watch collection paying tribute to the Minerva heritage in a modern way. Montblanc’s leather collection offers young urban progressives a variety of distinctive aesthetics and functions to suit any attire, while the recently launched #My4810 Trolley Collection ensures elegant style and exceptional functionality for today’s traveller.
Commenting on the opening, Franck Juhel, President of Montblanc Middle East, India and Africa said: “We are delighted to extend Montblanc’s presence in Bangalore with our second boutique, following the success of our first opening in Phoenix at Whitefield. We look forward to showcasing the world of Montblanc to many new customers in this progressive and thriving city.”
The new Montblanc boutique is located at The Conrad, Bangalore.

About Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance
French-born designer of both spaces and objects, Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance creates environments that are not distinguished in any way by a use, a form, a material or an aesthetic. He considers each project like an organic form that grows with its user. A place where the curve and the straight line, sensuality and rigour interact in a confrontation conducive to creating meaning and able to awaken all the senses, in the style of a natural element which can also defy human order and disorder. Duchaufour Lawrance often compares his approach to niwa, the little garden found at the heart of a traditional Japanese house.Like an organic pulse within a discipline dedicated above all to respond to the demands of the industry, market or client. Thus, he does not limit himself in the projects that he develops, designing objects for inspired lines for design manufacturers such as Bernhardt Design, Ceccotti Collezioni, Ligne Roset,Pleyel, Tachini and Zanotta, composing harmonious living areas including Air France lounges Ciel de Paris, Senderens, Megu at The Alpina Gstaad, LaTranshumance chalet) as well as defining the image of a product or a showcase for a famous brand from Paco Rabanne and Perrier Jouët to Baccarat and Swarovski. Inhabited by a legacy for art nouveau, Noé Duchaufour Lawrance refers to the universal character of nature to impose forms that make sense.
