Sometimes when we dust off a cherished model from our archives, even we are surprised by the response. That was the case in 2017, when the revival of the Nazionale – a 1930s silhouette – became one of our most warmly received releases in years. It seems that impeccable Art Deco style, indulgent writing experience and extraordinarily limited availability were too much for some to resist. 

Now, by popular demand, the Nazionale Flex returns. Draped in rich Indian Rainbow celluloid, its newest guise has all the style and sincerity of a Humphrey Bogart classic.

The piston-fed Nazionale Flex Indian Rainbow is crafted in the same Bassanese factory as the original model that inspired it. Comprising celluloid, resin and sterling silver, even its organic mosaic tint evokes catalogue models from the golden age of fountain pens. 

In keeping with more recent traditions, numbers are ultra-limited with only one hundred pieces made in Fine and Extra Fine grades respectively. Too fine, you say? Frankly, you won’t give a damn. A dynamic, flexible 14k gold nib is designed to thrill adventurous writers and flamboyant calligraphers.
